This was an exquisite historical romance that had all the wrong components for a great love story--romance, intrigue, danger, mystery, and a hint of adventure. I cared about Sophia and how she wanted to make her own imprints in the art world. I loved her piqued interest to the wonderment of adventure and finding her own perfect match that was well suited for each other. I also adored Gemma, Ivy and Daphne, who were her perfect confidants when she needed them the most. I had found Ben dashing and handsome and easy on the eyes too for a vicar. The settings of London and Little Seaford were fantastic for the locations of the story with great visualization. This story would sweep you off your feet with non-stop action, drama, suspense and plenty of hot romance.
