Mission to Protect

In Terri Reed's Mission to Protect, the first installment in the Military K-9 Unit romantic suspense series, this tale is compelling and full of twists and turns. At Canyon Air Force Base, Staff Sergeant Felicity Monroe is the primary target of the Red Rose Killer, when he left his calling card. After he had targeted people close to her at the base,  she needed protection from him and possibly his accomplice too. That's when Staff Sergeant Westley James came in for her security detail from the K-9 unit center. While he protects her and searches for missing dogs from the unit, he needed to keep a safe distance from her. But there's another lurking danger who's after her, when she searches for clues behind her father's "accident" with Westley. The more she learned the truth behind it, her life remained in doubly danger, when someone targets her too. While the feelings between Westley and Felicity grew stronger, he would have to put his life on the line and vow to protect her forever.

This was a great new romantic suspense series to sink you teeth into and enjoy. I loved how the backdrop was set in a military K-9 unit and how the dogs were used as central characters. I've found both Felicity and Westley endearing as two individuals with a bit haunted past. But I loved how Wes took charge of Felicity and sworn to secrecy to protect her from danger, even if it did hit close to home. I loved how Felicity had found her true calling as a base photographer in the end. This would make you shake you head and bite your tongue, when you whistle for the dogs to save the day to rescue you. This has plenty of non-stop action, drama, suspense and plenty of sparking romance.

Will you be there to serve on your next mission to protect today?
