Untraceable

In Laura Griffin's Untraceable, the first installment in the Tracers romantic suspense trilogy series, this novel is so packed with red-hot suspense and a sizzling story line. It all started for Alex Lovell, when someone came into her office and asked for her services to find Melanie Coghan, who was one of her clients. As a PI, she knew she had put her into hiding in a safe house from an abusive husband. But when she turned up missing at the scene of her home, she had her suspicions that her husband Craig had something to do with it. And that's when she ran into Nathan Devereaux, an Austin PD detective at the crime scene. They had a chemistry together and they needed to work together to find Melanie. Along the way, they ran into a couple of obstacles including Nathan's ex-wife, an ADA, and a couple of corrupted cops who were in too deep with the cartels. The same sizzling chemistry was there between them in the heat of the moment when Melanie turned up alive and the danger surrounded them. When they thought they had figured it out, they had to fight for their lives in an explosive ending that would leave you senseless and numb all over.

This was an excellent romantic suspense novel that would keep you at the edge of your seat. I cared for Alex who were in the thick of things and maybe way over her head to help her clients. I think the job at the Delphi Center would be a huge asset for her. I also cared for Nathan who was charming and would do anything to protect Alex within the law. I did feel bad for Melanie, who had been through a lot to stay alive, and to have a fresh start. I loved the dual locations of Austin Texas and New Orleans that had compelling and mesmerizing scenic settings. This would keep you at the edge of your seat with non-stop action, plenty of red-hot suspense, tons of drama, and lots of romance to make you swoon.

Will you be Untraceable tonight?
