In Kay Hooper's Out of the Shadows, the third installment in the Bishop/BCU trilogy series is the third book in the BCU trilogy, this storyline continued to deal with the evil shadows. In this one, Sheriff Miranda Knight dealt with a serial killer in her small town. Someone in her jurisdiction preyed on teenagers and killed them. When it did get complicated to solve, she recruited her former lover, Agent Noah Bishop, from the BCU and his team. Together, they figured out who was doing this and why by profiling the killer as they discussed their own feelings from the past. There was also a bad spirit out there who wsa going after her sister Bonnie. Together, they bonded and fell in love to fight all odds. This has a great paranormal twist to it, too.
This was another terrific paranormal thriller. I continued to care for Miranda and for Noah as well. I loved the paranormal shadow storyline as well that continued in this trilogy and also in the series as well. I love the small town feel for the location and the storyline as well, too, for the settings. It made it even more real and surreal. I do get chills and goosebumps from start to finish. Great drama, excellent non-stop action and suspense to keep you hooked on reading more.
Will you come out of the shadows for a great thriller? If so, give this a go today!
