Bloodline

In James Rollins's Bloodline, the 8th installment in this exhilerating thriller series, this novel would take you to the edge of your seat and make you drop your jaw.  It all started when the president's pregnant daughter was kidnapped by Somali pirates and later lost her husband in a brutal bloodfest. Then they've taken her to a secret cabin and want her unborn son for nefarious reasons. Back in the United States, while Grey Pierce deals with family issues of his own, he learns about Amanda Gant Bennett's kidnapping overseas  from Director Painter Crowe and prepares his team to go on a most dangerous covert operation they ever been on. They also recruited Sargeant Tucker Wayne and his trusted K-9 solider dog Kane to join their force on this rescue mission that would take them above and beyond. Inside the fertilty clinic in the Carolinas, Kat and Lisa from Sigma go undercover to learn the top secrets and why they wanted Amanda's baby. When discovered, it had put them in a most precious situation of their own and fought for their lives. Meanwhile, when they thought they've found Amanda on a secret island near Dubai, the president had put pressure for him to abort their mission and to terminate the Sigma Force's mission. But when Painter learn the hidden truth of who's behind it, it made the president rethink his strategy and to listen to what he said. Little did they know, that someone real close to the White House wanted to play God with genetics and nanotechnology for the immortal greater good. In the end,  the truth would come out on who was behind it and who played the better hand, when they would suffer the consequences with a terrible fate.

This thriller was fantasticly thrilling and bone-chilling numb at the same time. I did care for every member of Sigma Force and including Tucker and Kane too. I did find compassion for Amanda and the president, while some close to them plotted a real sick and sinister plot. The storyline was mind-blowing and utterly gripping to dip deep and then delve into the heart of someone playing God with medicine and science. I did love the vast  locations from the Carolinas to Africa and then all the way into the Middle East for that remote island known as Utopia. Each scenic setting was eye-popping to read on the page from one place to another. This would leave you speechless and feeling chilled in the end with non-stop action, drama, intense intrigue and mind-gripping mystery from start to finish.

Will you be ready to trust your own Bloodline tonight?

The Blood Gospel

In James Rollins's and Rebecca Cantrell's The Blood Gospel, the first installment in the Order of the Sanguines series, they both take us to a thrilling adventure from start to finish. For a trio of investigators, Erin Granger, an archeologist, Jordan Stone, a military forensic expert, and Father Rhun Korza, a Vatican priest, were sent on a journey to find the ancient and historic blood gospel bible. It all started with an earthquake in the Masada and took them to an adventure from Israel to Italy and even to the afterlife, while they've encountered many obstacles in the way, while Erin and Jordan fall in love. They would have to fake their deaths to discover where it was hidden and come out of it alive witn the Blood Gospel intact.

This was an excellent thriller. This has a hodgepodge in this thriller: action adventure, horror, urban fantasy, romance and historical romance. It had something for everybody in this thriller, too. I cared for Erin and Jordan and a little bit for Rhun. I loved the location in Italy and Israel and even into the afterlife and a bit of a time warp to race against time. It took me on an adventurous thrill ride. This would leave you breathless and shaking in the end. Excellent drama, fantastic non-stop action with plenty of thrills, chills, suspense and intrigue along the way.

Will you discover the Blood Gospel? If so, hold onto your hats and buckle up for a wild ride!

Black Order

If you love thrillers with something special added to it, you'll love James Rollins's Black Order, the third book in the Sigma Force series. It all started with a sinister fire in Poland that covered up the plot to steal Charles Darwin's Bible. For Gray Pierce, he dove into a mystery that went as far back to Nazi Germany and horrible experiments done in an abandoned lab in Poland. In Nepal, a strain of madness ravishes a monastery, when monks turn to cannibalism and torture. For Lisa Cummings, an American doctor who investigated the atrocity, was the brutal target for assassin. Her only ally was Painter Crowe, the director of Sigma Force, who already showed signs of the malady. Now it was up to Gray Pierce to save them both in a race of time.

This thriller had a lot going in from start to finish. I cared for Gray, Painter, Lisa and the whole planet. I didn't like this madness that spread across the world, either. I loved the dual locations of Poland and Nepal for this novel's awesome settings. It made it seem so remote, too. There was a hint of romance, lots of action, plenty of drama and conflict, a flavor of history. and a sprinkling of science fiction and science to give it some oomph. This would make you want to read it again and again.

Will you brace yourself for the black order? If, check it out today!
