In Cynthia Eden's Into the Night, the third installment in the Killer Instinct romantic suspense series, this twisted tale will make your head spin and give you whiplash in the ending. For FBI Agent Macey Night, she was the only survivor of Dr. Daniel Haddox's twisted crimes and lived to tell about it. Now as an agent for Agent Samantha Dark's profiler team, it would take her wits and her determination to deal with the most serial crimes. To help her fight the pain from the past, she became involved with her partner, Bowen Murphy, which was risky and against protocol. Between the two of them, they were on the hunt for Haddox and discovered his dead body with nails in his eyes. Now someone kept taunting them, especially Bowen, that he was the one who found him and took care of business. To prove his while, he was ahead of them every step of the way, until they've tracked down the next victim, a serial pyromaniac and arsonist. With someone watching their every move in the midst, they thought they would take this perp down until he went after a cop and later would go after them. For Macey and Bowen, things do heat up between them with a red-hot love for wanting each other. But when they're caught in the killer's crossfire, things change and put them in a life and death position... when they discover who was response with a shocking twist or two in the end that would leave you speechless.
This was a compelling and explosive romantic suspense novel. I instantly cared for Macey and what she had endured in the past to preservere in the present for the future. I did think Bowen was a good catch, though risky to start something with her in the midst of an investigation. The cast of characters were compelling to darn right creepy and dark. I did like the dual locations of Tennessee and North Carolina with fantastic visual images for the settings. This gave me goosebumps and chilled all over from start to finish and would let you feel the same way too. This has excellent non-stop action, suspense, explosive romance, and a bone-chilling mystery you wouldn't believe in the end.
Will you be ready for a primal kill into the night?

Mine to Protect
In Cynthia Eden's Mine to Protect, the 6th installment in the Mine romantic suspense series, she takes you to center stage with another heart-pounding amazing storyline. For FBI Agent Victor Monroe, he had sworn to protect Zoe Peters from being killed by her mobster father, Luther Bates. All her life, she lived in his shadow and being a prime target, while he remained bars for killing her mother. But no matter what they went, more hits were being targeted on her, mainly from her ex-beau, Tom Winters, who always get what he wants. He knew about Victor's big secret, even if he tore them apart for a price. For Zoe, she wanted to find her friend Michelle Lane. Together they would take on her father and find a way to be together, safe and happy together.
This was another fantastic romantic suspense in the Mine romantic suspense series. I cared about Zoe and Victor and how they came to be together with flaws on their own. I didn't like Tom Winters, but the other characters were okay. I loved the California and Vegas locations and spectacular scenic settings. This would make your heart-pound and your pulse race on every page with non-stop action, explosive chemistry, intrigue and suspense, right until the end.

Bonus Ebook review: Mine to Keep
In the second book in the Mine series, Mine to Keep, Cynthia Eden re-introduced us to Skye and Trace. After they left Florida to return back to New York, Skye dealt with the nightmares from her stalker and basement imprisonment. With Trace, he proved his love was solid with their engagement. But things weren't so sweet, when someone was after Trace and killed people who stood in his way. While it made him look guilty for the police, he honed after Skye and tormented them some more. Trace would do everything to protect the ones he loves, including his innocence, while someone was sending him a message. While they were closer to the truth, the more people he was close to was targeted by the killer. And for Skye and Trace, there was a shocking truth no one saw coming. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer...
This was a fantastic romantic suspense to warm your cold nights. Whether as a stand alone or in part of the series, this would make you melt like better. I liked the Floridan and New York location links to parallel both worlds. I loved the pairing of Skye and Trace, though I hated to see them apart and Skye more vulnerable and hurt. This was packed with a lot of hot romantic, good dramatic action and an intense storyline.

Sharpshooter: Special Ebook review
If you love fast-paced romantic suspense novels, this is another one for you. In Cynthia Eden's Sharpshooter, the third book in the Shadow agents series, Sydney and Gunnar were members of an elite EOD team. Sydney's fiancé's Slade Ortiz, Gunner's half-brother, was declared dead. Or so they thought, when they learned he didn't die, but was held hostage by rebels in Peru. And from there, it was explosive for this complicated love triangle, when Sydney fell in love with Gunner and realized the changes in Slade. When someone went after them, it became personal, from being shot at and a fire. And someone was going to get hurt with hell to pay. Little by little, they knew that Slade's out for blood with jealousy, until it got too close to comfort. But it brought Sydney and Gunner closer, when she chose the right brother for real. This is an explosive romantic suspense to hit straight to the heart.
This romantic suspense was so intense, it was explosive and red-hot for reading. I did feel bad for Sydney, when she ended up in a tangled love triangle of her own with two brothers no less. i did like Gunner more and Slade less and less in the end. This one tugged at your own heart strings and pulled it real tight and taut. I loved the scenes in Peru and back in the United States as well. This had lots of drama, sexy hot romance, and a lots of dramatic non-stop action in every page.
